Hi, my name is Jessica Kimbro. I have been with Children’s Creative Learning Center since August of 2006. I have worked as a Lead Teacher, the Infant/Toddler Coordinator and now I am the Assistant Director.
I have worked in childcare since 2000, here at CCLC and the Air Force Child Development Centers in Okinawa, Japan and South Dakota where I lived. I am grateful I had the opportunity to discover the world of early childhood education. It has become my passion since the first time I worked in a child development center. I hold a Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) from Washtenaw Community College and plan to pursue an Associate’s Degree in the future.
Besides working with children and their families, I enjoy expressing my creativity through crafting, especially scrapbooking and home décor items. I love having a job where I can put my creativity to use daily and watch children as they discover and explore their own creativity. I also love spending time with my husband and our three young sons.
The families and children that I have met since starting here have been a blessing and they each teach me something new each day. I am looking forward to this year and all the new experiences and precious memories that are sure to come with it.
