My name is Shaza Bitar.  I started working at CCLC in November 2014 as an Assistant Teacher.  I’m currently the Lead Teacher in the preschool Frog Room.  I am enthusiastic about leading the children in my classroom with engaging activities and learning opportunities.   I live in Ann Arbor with my husband and only beloved Son Eliane.  I come from a family that loves teaching.  My mother was a teacher, as well as both my Aunts.  This is how I decided to become a teacher.  I enjoy seeing how the children learn something new every day.  I just love them!

I have a Bachelor’s degree in French Literature.  I have also attended many courses in teaching.  I am privileged to teach French class once a week with the preschool classrooms.   I’ve had the pleasure of working with all ages of children.  I hope that I can make a difference in their lives.  I started my career as a French teacher at an international school.   I’ve also worked in elementary and middle schools for 15 years.  I feel so blessed to work with a wonderful team.  Every day of teaching and learning is a pleasure for me.
